MISSION STATEMENT
Movement of Harco is a council of activists dedicated to the fight for equality and growth of all, currently with the central point of racial justice. We will bring awareness to and combat racism within local public and schooling institutions. Our team aims to educate and serve the community of Harford County.

EDUCATION
DEMANDS
1.
Require a BIPOC club to be present in middle schools and high schools

Teach students about the Critical Race Theory in high school

Go through the curriculum and understand that curriculum change is necessary, by understanding this reach out to local movements and chapters to help change the curriculum

Require teachers to go to classes that help them prepare to discuss race and racism in their classroom’s appropriately

More diversity in school counselors and mental health workers in all schools

Appoint a diverse group of student leaders to advise the Office of Equality and Cultural Proficiency

Require teachers to attend antiracist TED talks, open discussions concerning race, etc.

Require students found guilty of racism to attend a class about racism taught by a qualified teacher

Require a BIPOC counsel in all high schools that have genuine power in their action
9.
Hold teachers, administrators, and all faculty responsible in their racist actions
